Being a mother was one of the most rewarding experiences. I've ever had. If I have the chance to help out another family, it would mean the world to me! If anybody who knows me was asked to pick a single word to describe me-"selfless"-would most certainly be it. In my 22 years of being a homemaker, I sacrificed my time, space, and freedom to raise two bright young men who have accomplished great things and are only just getting started. My oldest son is an anesthesiologists. My youngest son is a pilot for JetBlue. Being a mother has taught me more about myself than any other chapter of my life, but the main thing I have learned is that I have a passion for helping kids. Now that my sons are all grown up, I have become an empty nester, I plan on devoting my time in effort to assist other families who could use some extra help.
