About Barbara

Barbara came to work for us as a personal caregiver for my mother in September of 2023 and continued until early November of 2025, when my mom was admitted to the hospital. My parents live with me and my father needed help caring for my mother, who has Alzheimer’s. Barbara was the essence of professionalism - handling direction from my father and me, as well as the changes that come with my mother’s disease, with grace and efficiency. Barbara went above and beyond in her care of my mother in ways that only someone with a true compassion for others and a strong work ethic could do. From driving my mom around in the car whenever she felt anxious, to painting her nails and singing familiar songs with her, I felt so comforted that someone so caring was there for my mother during that time. In the over two years Barbara was with my mom, she maintained a positive attitude, even when my mom entered late stage Alzheimer’s and required constant distraction, entertaining and calming. I honestly cannot recall a day that Barbara called in sick within all that time. My confidence in recommending Barbara to care for your loved one is of the highest level.
