About Barbara

Hello! I'm a patient, caring, and dependable childcare professional with more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education at a well-respected preschool in the Smithtown area. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving as a Lead Toddler Teacher, Pre-K 4's Teacher, and Morning and After Care Teacher. While I've loved my time in the classroom, I'm excited to transition to working one-on-one with families, where I can provide individualized care and support tailored to each child's unique needs. Whether your child needs nurturing care, help building confidence, or extra support with early learning skills, I bring a wealth of experience, age-appropriate educational resources, and engaging learning materials to help them thrive both academically and socially. When I'm not working with children, you'll usually find me exploring new places with my husband and our dog, gardening, or spending time outdoors.
