About Barbara

Capable of meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, errands, bathing, dressing and care. During my time working at subacute rehabs I have enjoyed creating art projects with clients as we make gifts for family and friends during different seasons of the year. We would also do gentle exercises moving arms, hands, shoulders, and feet and legs while music plays. I worked at an alcohol and drug rehab where I facilitated mindful meditation and yoga, and instructed art classes. We would make vision boards, gift cards, paintings. One thing you should know about me is skills include making well planned and healthy meals that are pleasing and delicious, having activities during the day and a reading period scheduled regularly. Fresh air is important and an outing is always nice. Visiting with a friend or going to a park is a pleasant option.
