About Barbara

Hi! I'd describe myself as an extroverted, funny, and empathetic person. I started working with children when I was 15 as a part-time job, and continued throughout college because it allowed me to balance work and study. After graduating, I moved to Colorado to work as an Au Pair for two years, and since then I've worked with many families. I currently have over six excellent references from families I've worked with, all of whom can vouch for my dedication, reliability, and connection with their children. In my free time, I love going to the gym, snowboarding, and mountain biking. I also train in jiu-jitsu. I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. My skills include sleep training, food training, and potty training, among others. Starting this August, I'll be pursuing the prerequisites for nursing school-another step toward my path of becoming pediatric nurse.
