About Barbara

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, professional, and trustworthy. Having raised my own children through their teenage years, I'm now looking for a role where I can use that experience to support and care for another family. I began working with children babysitting regularly for neighbors when I was very young along with working in a pediatric dental office. In addition to raising my own 3 children, I've spent years actively involved in their schools, assisting in classrooms and running school events. I also have hands-on experience supporting special needs, as I am a parent to a child with autism, which has deepened my patience, adaptability, and understanding of individualized care. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my kids. I also enjoy creative projects & I'm always interested in learning new skills. One thing families should know about me is that I'm attentive and intuitive. I approach every child with empathy, flexibility, and respect.
