Hello, My name is Barbara and I am 71 years young, with a very youthful spirit! I am kind, patient, playful, respectable and reliable. I love children and will take care of yours, as if they were mine. I am very trustworthy. I am very active and fit, working out and taking yoga classes regularly. I love children and find much joy being with them! Originally, I was with a family for 6 years with 2 daughters; they were 5 & 6 when I started. Right before Covid I cared for a 4 month baby girl. After Covid, for 9 months, I was a a caregiver to a 16 month baby boy, who was 8 months when I started. Not to mention, my own grandchildren since birth. I have my early childhood development units and taught pre-school for 12 years. The past 2 1/2 years I have been a nanny to twin girls. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Barbara as our full-time nanny for the past 2.5 years. She has been an exceptional caregiver to my twin girls, who are now approaching their third birthday and will soon start preschool, which unfortunately means we can no longer offer her full-time work. I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough, and she will undoubtedly be my first choice whenever we need a sitter in the future. Barbara is not only warm and easygoing but also brings a level of professionalism and experience that has been invaluable. Her caregiving style is the perfect balance of patience and firmness (when necessary), and she has truly become a grandmother-like figure. Despite being older, she is extremely active—practicing yoga regularly, drawing on her background as a former ballet dancer, and bringing years of experience as a former pre-K teacher and seasoned nanny. She has no trouble keeping up with my energetic twin toddlers! Barbara has also made a significant impact on my daughters' development. Thanks to her, they’ve learned to count, recite the alphabet, and even read and write their names. They also love to show off the ballet and yoga poses she has taught them. Barbara has been a wonderful presence in our lives, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, skilled, and dedicated nanny.
