About Aysha

Hello, my name is Aysha (A-shu), I am a mama of 2 (almost 13 and 8), I have been working in child care in some form or another since my oldest was born, approximately 11 years. I have been a preschool teacher, nanny, swim coach (lifeguard instructor), camp counselor, and a para-professional. I started when my 13yo was born to be close to her, to learn more about how to care for children. I became immersed, I read every book I could and took every class I could afford. I became in love with working with children and became very good at it. I am playful yet stern, nurturing, kind, and have a large focus on safety and learning. Being a swim coach has taught me how to read emotions, honor emotions, and encourage children to handle their emotions while learning a new life-saving skill. I hope to help in serving our youth in this community.
