About Ayinde

I have known Ayinde H for more than 30 years and have had the opportunity to witness his dedication to the arts, education, and community development throughout that time. Ayinde has consistently demonstrated exceptional talent, leadership, and commitment in the areas of theater, African dance, drumming, and arts education. From a young age, Ayinde studied and taught African dance and drumming under the guidance of highly respected and renowned artists. His passion for preserving and sharing African cultural traditions has remained a central part of his life's work. While attending North Carolina Central University as a theater student, he established an African dance company composed of young adults, providing opportunities for artistic expression, cultural education, and community engagement. Ayinde later earned a graduate degree in theater, further strengthening his skills as an artist and educator. Throughout his professional career, he has worked with elementary and middle school students, teaching drama and contributing to their educational development in a variety of ways. His ability to inspire young people, foster creativity, and encourage personal growth has made a positive and lasting impact on many students. I can confidently attest to Ayinde's character, professionalism, and dedication to both the arts and education. He is a talented artist, a committed educator, and a respected community leader whose contributions have enriched the lives of countless individuals.
