About Ayana

My childcare experience comes from church youth group (watching the younger children in the church), from my time as a LINK assistant in middle and high school, and from watching and organizing my siblings and cousins. I have experience with children with autism and down syndrome from the school and from my family. My experience with adults who need extra care comes from growing up with my grandma living in our home and from working at an assisted living facility. My grandma had dementia and stage four cancer, she was on hospice for most of my senior year. I am happy to do household chores, yard work and enjoy helping with homework. I am a biology student at UofO and really value education. I'm good with most kinds of pets. I grew up with many kinds of animals and I currently have two cats and a 2-year-old lab. I love music and movies, and spend a lot of time reading. I like to craft, although I'm not particularly artistic. I just enjoy the process.
