Hi I'm currently a junior on a Pre-Med track at IUPUI (hoping to work in pediatrics after graduation). I am the oldest sibling and have many years of taking care of younger children and quite frankly I love the task! Since children are the creators of this next generation I think their care is of the upmost importance and with my previous experience and knowledge of child care your children would be in the right hands! I love incorporating learning with play and engaging children as much as possible in a creative and productive manner!

Aya quit via text message after sitting for one day with my 7 year old daughter. I met with Aya prior to offering her the position and she also spent time with E to help determine a good fit. Aya thought she and E were a great pair. So we hired Aya after checking references. Unfortunately, after one day of nannying with my daughter and promising to return the next day, Aya sent a note stating there wasn't a great spark between her and my daughter. I was personally disappointed and bothered by the short notice and reason for quitting. I'm not sure one day with a child is enough to establish a "spark". Aya was very personable and had good references. However, I would give Aya ample time to spend time with your family to make sure it is a mutual fit before hiring. BTW - my daughter loved Aya and was sad to hear she would not be coming back.
