About Awa

Hi! My name is Awa, and I'm a student who has always loved working with kids. I've cared for children from babies to pre-teens, and I really enjoy getting to know each child's personality, routine, and favorite things. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, bilingual in English and French, and conversational in Spanish. I've also worked with children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental needs, which has taught me to be patient, flexible, and really attentive. I love doing crafts, reading, playing games, going on little walks, helping with homework, and finding fun ways to keep kids engaged. I'm also happy to help with light cleaning, dishes, laundry, and keeping things tidy around the house. I'd describe myself as warm, reliable, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I'm looking for a family I can genuinely connect with and support!
