If you are looking for companion care for your elderly family member, I would make a great caregiver! I have unprofessional experience ( assisting with elderly family members) and get along great with older people. I have helped with personal hygiene, supervising excercise, driving to doctor visits, grocery shopping and other errands, meal preparation and housecleaning. I love to converse and listen to people tell their stories and experiences and my hobbies of crocheting, cooking, gardening, etc often emcourage lots of conversation and sometimes I learn a few things along the way! I think it's extremely important to treat people with respect, and remember that older people aren't children but people who've had full lives. However sometimes they have a hard time making choices in their own best interests, and I can help encourage them to stay on track. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am not a nurse, but a great companion. I am available for evening and/or weekend shifts.
