About Avonlea

Hi! I'm Avonlea, a sophomore at Emmanuel College studying Marketing and Finance, and I love bringing creativity, energy, and fun into every day with kids. I work with children ages 7-15 at the AYC, where I plan activities, supervise outings, and keep things running smoothly (even when it's a little chaotic). I'm great at balancing different personalities, whether that's crafting and games or keeping up with high-energy play. I also have experience with children with developmental differences, including my younger sister with autism, which has shaped my patience, adaptability, and calmness. I'm confident handling sibling dynamics and keeping things positive and fun. I'm dependable, organized, and happy to help with school routines, pickups, light meal prep, errands, and staying on top of kid logistics (I will find the missing water bottle).
