About Avital

I have been involved with child care and educational extra-curricular since high school. I have been everything from a camp counselor to a robotics coach. I have passions for STEM and arts and am studying interactive media arts at NYU with minors in studio art, journalism, and computer science. I have tutored math before but am comfortable with just about any subject in the K-12 range. I have strong communication skills in various styles of writing and visual representations. I am a dog lover and own a Chihuahua mix. My main goal in babysitting and tutoring is to maximize fun and leave having had a positive impact on the child. Whether that be from imaginative play or teaching them something they thought was impossible to learn.
