About Avian

Hi! My name is Avian, and I'm a recent UC San Diego graduate with years of experience working with children through programs like Higher Ground Youth & Family Services and UCSD's Partnership Schools initiative. I've cared for kids of all ages, from elementary through middle school, supporting them with homework, mentorship, and creative activities. Families can rely on me to provide safe, structured, and fun care that adapts to each child's unique needs. Beyond childcare, I bring strong leadership and organizational skills from serving as Student Council President, where I managed large teams, events, and budgets. These experiences shaped me into someone who is dependable, patient, and proactive. I enjoy planning engaging activities, encouraging healthy routines, and being a consistent, positive presence for kids. My goal is to support both children and parents by creating a nurturing environment where kids feel cared for, inspired, and confident every day.
