Do not hire this caregiver. She left my home infested with bedbugs and still owes me $875. I loaned her the money with the understanding—confirmed in writing—that she would pay me back once her DSS Trustline payment came through. She never did. Month after month, she made excuses and ignored follow-ups. Beyond the financial and pest issues, she constantly complained about her roommates, did minimal work, and often made subtly insulting comments under the guise of being “sweet.” Her experience didn’t match her actions—and her failure to follow through was costly and stressful. Parents deserve honesty, safety, and accountability. I would never wish this experience on another family.
