About Avery

Within the last 2 years I have acquired 200+ student teaching hours through an education career technical program I participated in. I have worked alongside multiple teachers in classrooms ranging from 1st-5th grade as well as experience in special education with a focus on speech pathology. During my internships I was actively involved in students learning through lesson planning, small group activities, and various observational assignments. Through these experiences I have gained practical skills that directly apply to tutoring such as understanding teaching methods, adolescent brain development, and the importance of lesson structure. With this unique perspective I am well equipped to help your kids see their own potential and overcome any challenges they face with their coursework.
