About Avery

Hi! My name is Avery, and I'm going into my sophomore year, studying Child and Adolescent Studies with a focus in EE. My biggest dream has always been to be a mom, and I've always loved working with kids. I have years of babysitting experience, serving in my church's kids ministry, helping at an in-home daycare, and regularly caring for my boyfriend's younger siblings, including twins with autism and an elementary-aged child. I'm comfortable working with kids of different ages and needs. I'm energetic, hands-on, and attentive, and I love creating a fun, safe environment where kids feel supported. I'm reliable, caring, and always show up with a positive attitude. My goal is to become a teacher, so this is something I'm truly passionate about.
