About Avery

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, nature-forward, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because they bring new energy, ideas, and creativity to my own way of thinking! They often think differently than adults do, and I think that's something to celebrate! I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling, consistent, and allows me to make a positive impact in someone's life. I started working with kids when I was 16, at a daycare. In my spare time, I like to hike, play with my dog, work on my college research, and photograph wildlife. One thing you should know about me is my hair color will never stay the same, and I have tattoos. I will never encourage your children to follow my example, and understand if you'd like me to attempt to cover the majority of them, but they are permanent, and should be factored into your decision! My skills include emergency preparedness (CPR, LSC, first aid,) communication, and creative redirection when needed.
