About Avery

Hi! My name is Avery, and I'm a freshman at Ithaca College. For the past two years, I've worked as an after-school nanny (about 25 hours a week) and have been babysitting regularly for local families since I was 13. I've also spent the last four summers as a theatre camp counselor and helped run after-school theatre programs throughout high school. I'd describe myself as responsible, organized, creative, and fun-qualities that help me create a balance between structure and play. Most of my experience is with children ages 2-11, though I've also babysat infants (my baby cousins!) and get along great with tweens who think they're too old for a sitter :). I'm CPR certified, fully vaccinated, and experienced with children who have dietary restrictions. I'm currently looking for weeknight or date-night babysitting opportunities.
