About Avery

Over the last 10 years, I have loved babysitting, teaching, and supporting children as they grow. I have experience working with children 6 weeks to 12 years old. I am comfortable helping with light cleaning and cooking as well. I have experience working with children of all temperaments. I am patient and compassionate, and I work to create a fun and safe environment for children. I have worked in both daycare and elementary school settings. I am comfortable helping children to learn and complete homework. I was a counselor at therapeutic camps specializing in selective mutism, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and OCD. In May, I graduated where I studied Psychology and Human Development and Family Sciences. I am applying to graduate school for counseling.
