Hi, I'm Avery! I'm currently a senior at the University of Northern Colorado studying English Education. I've spent three semesters working in middle and high school classrooms, as well as helping with after-school tutoring programs in those schools. I love helping students grasp new concepts and working through roadblocks together! When I taught swimming and piano lessons in high school, the most rewarding part was working with students who were having a particularly tough time with the material, and helping them overcome their challenges to make new breakthroughs! In addition to my English major, I got As on AP Calculus and Physics in high school, and have a lifelong passion for learning and teaching in all subjects.
