Hi!! my name is Avery. I am currently a nursing student at UT. I graduated high school in 2024. My junior and senior year I attended a career tech school where I had the opportunity to obtain my STNA, Phlebotomy, First Aid, CPR, and home health aid license. I also got the opportunity to work at my local hospital as a patient care tech, which I have been doing for the past 2 years now. I have gotten to take care of all kinds of patients, but I mainly work on a medsurg unit. This past summer while at home I have been living with my grandma who was recently diagnosed with dementia. I help her with everyday tasks and other things she may not remember how to do. I am also very comfortable with pets as I have 3 cats and a dog myself.
