About Avery

I love working creatively with students, as someone who struggled at times in school I understand how frustrating it can be. I have since graduated at the top of my class with a degree in Literature, tutored peers, and worked in my college's admission office assisting high schoolers with their college essays. I'm passionate about the importance of connecting personal interests to the material, and making sure learning doesn't feel intimidating. I can help with critical reading, essay writing, and study skills for elementary, middle, and high school students. I am comfortable tutoring at a student's home or virtually. I have a car and a comfortable with pets.
