About Avery

From a young age, I've found immense joy in caring for children. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my desire to positively impact young lives and support families by providing reliable care. I have one year of experience caring for children and am comfortable caring for a couple children at a time. This includes over 5 years of childcare with special needs kids. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate verbally at pickup, while always adhering to the preferred communication method. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles with children. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am CPR and First Aid trained. With some college education, I continue to seek opportunities to learn and grow. I am excited to work with you and your family to create a nurturing and fun environment for your child.
