About Avery B

Hello! My name is Avery and I am a graduate student at New York University! I amlooking for a position, where I can focus on giving children a safe, creative, and encouraging environment. I have multiple years of experience in childcare, and most recently worked at a preschool in New Jersey before moving to New York. I am currently studying to be a child therapist and have a psychology background, so I love to incorporate my knowledge of child development to provide an environment in which children can learn, grow, and have fun! I am a big fan of crafts, outdoor play, sensory activities, and activities that balance fun and child development. I take a hands-on and involved approach to childcare, meaning that I love being an active participant in the child's activities, rather than just an observer. In my free time, I enjoy baking, being outdoors, and reading :)
