About Avery

Hello! My name is Avery. I reside in Upstate New York for the majority of the year where I study filmmaking at Bard College, but I spend my summers in the Denver area. I have worked in childcare for a few years now through the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, specializing in performance and self expression. I love creating a supportive environment where kiddos feel comfortable being creative, curious, and boldly themselves. As an artist myself, I value communication, empathy, and creating meaningful connections, and I bring that same energy into childcare. I'm happy to help with creative activities, homework, routines, and keeping a positive, engaging atmosphere throughout the day. I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for your children! In my free time, I love watching movies, creating art, hiking and being in nature, thrifting, and sewing. I also have a huge passion for music- expect many dance parties. :)
