About Avery

Hi! I'm Avery, an incoming Ohio State University student on the pre-med track with strong skills in math, science, English, and Spanish. I'm patient, encouraging, and dependable, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and feel less overwhelmed with schoolwork. Most of my tutoring experience comes from helping my younger brother and neighborhood students with homework, studying, and understanding difficult concepts. I'm good at explaining things in different ways depending on how each student learns best, and I always aim to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Outside of academics, I enjoy running, playing the clarinet, and spending time with family and friends. Families should know that I genuinely care about helping students succeed and making learning feel more manageable and rewarding.
