About Avery

Hello to all the moms and dads on Care. com! I've been babysitting consistently for 3 years, but I've worked with children since I was 15. During that time, I've cared for 50+ families through Fgroups, referrals, and community connections. I have experience with children from newborns to age 18, including children with special needs, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. In high school, I was selected for FISD's Child Guidance program. I originally planned to become a social worker or child psychologist before discovering my passion for sports and marketing. I am currently heading into my junior year at OSU, pursuing a degree in Strategic Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Go Pokes! One of the most rewarding parts of babysitting has been the relationships I've built with families and getting to watch children grow, learn, and become their own little people.
