About Avery

Available for private tutoring! I'm a fun, caring, energetic teacher with experience in grades K-5. As a certified teacher since 2015 with a BS in Education, minor in Special Education, and Master of Education degree, my services would include providing instructional support and encouragement with homework help, designing personalized additional mini lessons to supplement areas needing better understanding, and assessing to determine what areas need the most academic support. This also includes emotional and behavior support, teaching strategies for managing stress, supplemental activities such as movement breaks, and any additional support for students. I have plenty of resources and strategies to share with parents as well. I have years of experience working with students such as learning and behavior disabilities, English Language Learners, students performing below grade level, etc. Childcare available.
