About Avelyn

I'm a nurturing and creative childcare provider with a genuine passion for fostering children's growth and development. I am currently in college to be an elementary teacher. I have worked in a day care primarily in the infant and school age rooms. I also have done internships with kindergarten, second, and 8th grade. I work as a theatre arts teacher during the summer at a camp. I have a lot of experience working with children and plan to do it my entire life. I have a solid understanding of child psychology and age-appropriate activities. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and promptly addressing any concerns that may arise. I follow the parents' lead in terms of enforcing household rules, ensuring a consistent safe and respectful environment for the children in my care. My approach to childcare is imaginative and engaging, with a focus on outdoor activities, educational games, and fostering a love for learning.
