About Ava

Hi, I'm Ava! I am a graduate student at NYMC in the dental linker program. I received my undergraduate degree in Biological Neuroscience from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). My previous childcare experiences include: tutoring middle school level ELA and math (3+ years, throughout high school), babysitting and driving to extracurricular activities (Summer 2019), and program director for 5-night overnight summer camp ages 6-9 (4 years, 2021-present). For the past three years, I worked as a dental assistant and received narcan training and CPR certification. My friends would describe myself as a positive and empathetic person. I have a sister who is 8 years younger than me and I am the eldest cousin in my family. I am currently living with two of my cousins, ages 12 and 6, while I complete my accelerated masters degree. In my free time I enjoy playing Tennis, traveling, and bonding with my pet rabbits back at my parent's home! I look forward to caring for your little ones!
