About Ava

Making a positive impact on people's lives is my passion! For the past five years, l've provided reliable care and supported families. I am looking to help families in need of respite with their special needs children/adults. I work at 3 different organizations within the disability community, and i'm eager to help where ever I can! I'm patient and calm, and I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I'm happy to follow your preferred communication method. I'm in my 2nd year at the University of Minnesota TC pursuing a degree in kinesiology & developmental psychology. Once I get my bachelors, I will attend graduate school to aquire a doctorate in occupational therapy. I also have Medical Administration Training, First Aid Training, and CPR Training. I'm fluent in English and know basic Spanish and ASL. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion to your family!
