About Ava

there! I'm Ava, and I've always been around kids-it's kind of my thing. I live with my 4-year-old nephew and am a big sister to my three younger siblings, so I've basically been a caregiver my whole life. I've also worked with kids outside my family. Last semester, I was an assistant teacher for a second-grade class, which was such a rewarding experience. Plus, I volunteered teaching tumbling and cheerleading to kids-I was one of their favorites! I also volunteered every Wednesday at my church, playing and doing crafts with them. People say I'm great at making kids feel comfortable and helping them thrive. I also have experience working with special needs children, I was an assistant teacher to some lovely EC students whom I bonded greatly with. I'm super outgoing and cheerful, so I connect with kids easily. Long-term, I'm hoping to turn this passion into a career in childcare. This feels like the perfect place to start!
