About Ava

Hello! my name is Ava. I am a UVM graduate with a degree in Exercise Science. I will be returning to UVM this fall to pursue a Masters in Physical Activity and Wellness Science. I play Division 1 lacrosse. I have been involved in childcare since I was 12 years old - looking after children ages 3 months old to 14 years old. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have coached children in lacrosse and soccer. I ran my own lacrosse clinic last summer with 25 girls ages 9-12 for 4 hours a week for 8 weeks. I am fun and easy going, but also know the need to be firm with rules with kids. I love to play all games outside, go on hikes and do crafts. Last summer I was a full time nanny for a family of 3 kids- ages 3, 6 and 9. I would drive them to school, camps, the pool, anywhere they needed to go. I prepared breakfast and lunch and sometimes dinner for them depending on the parents schedule. I can also help with grocery shopping and cleaning, etc. I can provide references upon request!
