About Ava

Ava was a wonderful summer nanny for our two-year-old son and occasionally our infant son. She spent most of her time with our toddler, playing outside in the sandbox with cars and trucks, being silly together, and enjoying special activities such as puzzles at the table. He truly looked forward to seeing her. He would excitedly say, "Oh Ava!" and run to the door when she arrived. He talked about what they would do together even on days she was not there. Ava was consistently punctual, dependable, communicative, and flexible. She readily took direction and was happy to adapt when we needed help with a different child, a changed routine, or even lunch preparation. She was also proactive about noticing what would be helpful in the moment, whether that meant caring for the kids or getting ahead on dishes, tidying, vacuuming, or laundry. We would absolutely hire Ava again when she is around and available. And we would gladly recommend her to another family.
