About Ava

In highschool I struggled so hard to find a job I liked; I associated working with being miserable and gave up on enjoying work. That was before I had my job at a daycare. It was the most rewarding experience of my life. I loved building connections with the children, seeing them turn into little humans, and have their own thoughts and opinions. Despite enjoying working with children though, I have another reason for wanting to work as a babysitter. Growing up I witnessed my baby cousin be forced to take care of all her siblings because her parents couldn't afford childcare and it was exhausting for her. She could barely focus on herself and I hated that it seemed like there was no other option. I want to be affordable and work with families.
