About Ava

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. My previous babysitting experiences showed me the positive impact I could have on young lives, and I'm excited to continue supporting families. I have one year of experience caring for children of ages 6 to 9, and I am comfortable watching up to two children. I am patient, friendly, and follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I am comfortable with verbal communication at pickup, and I always follow a parent's preferred method. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games, but I'm also comfortable with technology-based games. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. I have taken early childhood development coursework. Knowing I can make a family's day a little easier brings a smile to my face.
