About Avaree

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, & go with the flow! I like working with kids because they are never boring & keep you on your toes. I started babysitting in high school to earn extra money. I discovered that I enjoy working with kids and that lead to me pursing a degree in psychology with a minor in child development. I had to take a step back from school, but had earned about 75% of the credits needed to obtain my degree. Ideally I plan on finishing my degree online within the next five years. I've taken multiple classes focused on child development! I have experience babysitting autistic children and have a sibling on the spectrum, so I am very comfortable adapting to special needs and neurodivergence. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family, dog, and two cats. I play guitar and am an avid reader. I also love to visit the zoo at least once a month and have a membership that allows me to bring free guests with every visit!
