About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am 21. I'm currently completing my B. S. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Youth Care. I will begin my graduate program in School Psychology at UWL this fall. I have experience nannying, working in daycare classrooms, and as a direct support professional. I have worked with kids ages 10 months to 18 years, including children with Angelman Syndrome and Autism. These experiences have helped me develop patience, flexibility and a strong passion for supporting each child's unique needs. I am CPR certified and happy to provide references. I really enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, and I especially value outdoor play during the summer. I believe kid thrive when they have time to explore, be creative and learn about the world around them. I also enjoy building strong relationships with families. I am comfortable helping with chores, meal prep and pet care. In my free time, I enjoy hiking the bluffs and spending time up north with family!
