About Ava

I am a college student with five years of childcare experience. I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, and coach, and currently work at a preschool. I have experience with children of all ages, including newborns. My priority is providing a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. I am reliable, patient, caring, CPR certified, and enjoy building long-term relationships with the children and families I work with. My experience in both public and private childcare settings has taught me the importance of safety, patience, communication, and consistency. I enjoy actively engaging children through play, activities, reading, and age-appropriate learning rather than simply supervising them. I am adaptable to different family routines and parenting styles and understand the importance of consistency for children. I also make an effort to leave the home tidy and am happy to help with light household tasks when the child is sleeping or occupied.
