About Ava

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, free spirited, and compassionate I like working with kids because they are often underestimated in how profound they are. They teach me so much and make the small moments beautiful I've loved kids my whole life starting to babysit with mom at home around 11. I've done tutoring, mentor groups, and educational presentations at schools about transitioning to high school and how to handle big emotions. I currently work at an afterschool program and for the last three summers I was a camp counselor! In my spare time, I like to be in nature whether that be swimming, hiking, or riding my bike. I love exploring new coffee spots and cutie little towns with antique shops and other small businesses. I've recently discovered my love for pilates and cycling! I hope to get more into pottery and reading.
