About Avalon

I am a Studio Arts major with a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for working with children. I am pursuing a career in children's art therapy and am looking for opportunities to gain hands-on experience. I have extensive childcare experience, including several years as a camp counselor, over three years working in a nursery, and regularly babysitting for multiple families. I love creating safe, fun, and encouraging environments where children can learn, express themselves freely. I want to be someone children can trust, confide in, and feel comfortable around. I especially enjoy creating art with children and encouraging their natural creativity without limiting their imagination. In my spare time, I paint portraits. I am also a night owl, so I don't mind parents getting back late! I also recently renewed my in-person CPR and First Aid training for infants-adults through the American Heart Association on 7/29/26.
