About Ava

I'd describe myself as joyful, caring, focused, and definitely a little goofy. I've loved working with kids since I was about 13, and I genuinely enjoy being someone who can make a child feel supported, encouraged, and cared for. I played sports in college, which taught me a lot about patience, discipline, teamwork, etc. I love bringing that same positive and encouraging energy into the lives of the kids I work with. I'm currently in graduate school and completing an internship, so I'm looking for a family who is understanding of a student schedule. I'm dependable, attentive, playful, and always happy to get down on the floor and play, even if I'm probably going to lose the game. When I'm not working or studying, I'm usually playing with my dogs, cooking, or trying to convince myself that a face mask counts as a productive evening. I'm a very passionate and compassionate person, and I'd love the opportunity to be a positive and trusted person in your little one's life.
