About Ava

I am passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment. For the past seven years, I've worked with children ranging from toddlers to pre-teens and am comfortable caring for multiple children at once. My coursework in early childhood development and education at UC Berkeley along with student teaching experiences in high school, has given me valuable insight into how children learn and develop. I enjoy incorporating educational games and activities into children's daily routine. I'm currently pursing a career in Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology, where I am passionate about helping children find their voice and develop their communication skills. I'm dependable, patient, and comfortable following household rules while keeping parents updated in whatever way they prefer.
