About Ava

Fostering a nurturing environment for children has been my passion for the past six years. My journey began with rewarding babysitting experiences that inspired me to dedicate my career to supporting families and making a positive impact on young lives. I hold a college degree in psychology enhanced by coursework in early childhood development. On top of that, I interned at the Child's Play Learning & Development Research Lab at the University of Delaware (from June 2025 to May 2026). I am patient, calm, and approachable when caring for up to two children. Whether we are playing outdoor sports, solving puzzles, or engaging in educational games, I prioritize active learning. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I maintain open communication through your preferred method, whether by text or a chat at pickup. I look forward to becoming a trusted partner in your family's daily life.
