I've always loved animals and have grown up around them my whole life. I actually came to CSU planning to go to vet school and spent my first two years studying Animal Sciences and Zoology before changing my major to Social Work. I also took a class focused on canine training and animal-assisted interventions. I'm really patient with animals and love getting to know their personalities and building a relationship with them. I have a cat of my own, and my Lab recently passed away, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to feel like they're in good hands. I'm happy to work with all kinds of animals and am comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities. I'm active and outdoorsy from playing rugby at CSU, but I'm also totally happy spending time at home with a pet, giving them attention, playing, going on walks, or just keeping them company. Your pet's comfort, routine and happiness would always be my priority!
