About Ava

As the oldest of four siblings, I grew up surrounded by the importance of supporting, guiding, and looking after younger children from an early age-inspiring my passion for childcare. I have four years of hands-on experience, including two years of regular babysitting and two years as a YMCA Camp Counselor-where I worked with children ages 4-14. These roles provided valuable experience in balancing fun and responsibility, nurturing individual growth and important life skills, and organizing and participating in a structured, dynamic schedule where kids can explore new activities. Whether it's helping with schoolwork, encouraging creativity through games and crafts, or supervising outdoor play, I love creating a safe, welcoming environment for every child! I am also trained in CPR and First Aid, giving you peace of mind that safety is always a priority. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide reliable care for your children!
