About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am going into my senior year at Umass Amherst. I study politics, economics, and philosophy, and plan on teaching for two years before heading to law school. I have 5+ years of experience in tutoring across a variety of subjects. In high school, I worked with ELL students and students with learning differences. Currently, I tutor and coach high school debaters, as well as tutoring elementary school students in reading and writing through Teach for America. I would be happy to tutor any age group, whether in introductory English proficiency or preparing for the SAT! I also have a personal love of history and would be happy to work within anything in the humanities.
